For Cincinnati native Terry Jenkins, Ohio State football will always be his first love.
But thanks to a passionate dislike of Nebraska and an admiration of Billy Sims' fancy footwork, Jenkins developed a soft spot in his heart for the team wearing a slightly darker shade of red.
“Ohio State was always first, but I did not like Nebraska, and I thought Billy Sims was the coolest guy I've ever seen play football,” Jenkins said. “I loved watching Billy Sims play. Archie Griffin is my favorite player of all time, obviously.
“I remember vividly, Fridays after Thanksgiving was Nebraska-Oklahoma and then Saturday was the game with the Team Up North.
