Marian Billbury was admittedly a little bit apprehensive when her son Korey told her last summer that he wanted to move more than 1,000 miles east of their home in Tulsa to play his final season of college basketball.
Korey, who played at Oral Roberts for three seasons, said that he wanted to spend his final year of eligibility at Virginia Commonwealth as a graduate transfer.
But as Korey inches closer toward the end of his time at VCU, Marian said she's come to accept — and even embrace — her son's decision.
