Landry Jones suffers knee injury at Renegades' training camp

Landry Jones suffered a left knee injury during the Dallas Renegades' training camp.

The injury occurred Monday during practice at the team's training camp in Houston. Jones, who is Dallas' starting quarterback, is one of two quarterbacks on the Renegades' roster along with East Carolina product Philip Nelson.

"We are sorry to see Landry sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks and are hopeful he will heal quickly and be back on the field at our opener, if not just shortly after,” Renegades coach Bob Stoops said. “Landry is the leader of our team and will continue to play that key role.
