OU wide receiver Keontez Lewis left in the second quarter against Temple on Saturday after taking a hard helmet-to-helmet hit while trying to make a catch. During the attempted catch, a Temple defender ripped the ball from Lewis for a John Mateer interception.

According to the ESPN2 broadcast, after walking off the field and being tended to by OU medical staff, Lewis eventually went back to the locker room before halftime. Lewis did not have his helmet and had a towel over his head.
