NORMAN — On a team loaded with headline-makers, it might be easy to overlook Kelsey Arnold.
She's not smacking home runs like Jocelyn Alo and Sydney Romero. She's not logging saves like Paige Lowary, and she's not striking out opponents like Paige Parker.
But to forget about the senior shortstop would be a huge mistake.
Arnold is one of the key pieces of Patty Gasso's No. 2-ranked Sooners — the player that's kept the team on course throughout its 22-game win streak.
“If you took anyone off the field, there's a few that I would say, ‘Just please don't take them,' and she's one of them,” Gasso said.
