NORMAN — After a 63-20 win over No. 21 Syracuse on Saturday, Maryland is ranked for the first time since 2013.
And Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts is paying attention to the Terrapins.
Hurts considered Maryland when he chose to leave Alabama as a graduate transfer and Terrapins coach Mike Locksley was Hurts' offensive coordinator last season and co-offensive coordinator in 2017 when Hurts led the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff title game.
"He's great at what he does," Hurts said Monday of Locksley. "He knows football. I've got a lot of respect and love for him.
