Jalen Hurts hasn't earned Oklahoma's starting QB job, but he's already won over his teammates

ARLINGTON -- Four All-Conference selections were seated next to Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley inside AT&T Stadium for Monday's Big 12 Media day session, but a significant portion of the conversation was about the player that wasn't there.

That would be former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts, a national-championship winning quarterback who, according to Riley, hasn't won the team's starting job yet.

"I just felt like some of the guys who have been here before and have played for us here before, it was a little more appropriate," Riley said.

Hurts, despite not being the team's starter, has won over the locker room, though.
