'I didn’t really care if I got hit in the face or not': Kristian Doolittle played without face mask for final nine minutes against TCU

FORT WORTH — Two weeks after breaking his nose, Kristian Doolittle decided he didn’t want to wear his face mask anymore.

The senior forward had worn the mask most of OU’s game Saturday against TCU, but decided to take it off when he came back in with just under nine minutes remaining. The Sooners beat the Horned Frogs 78-76.

OU was down 59-46 at the time, and Doolittle had been fidgeting with the mask earlier in the game. While he previously said he would have to wear it for the rest of the season, he decided the risk of not wearing it was worth it.
