The success of the OU football season figures to be determined away from Norman. Some years ago, that would have been a bummer for Sooner prognostications. OU’s susceptibility at home the last three seasons has changed that perception, to some degree. At Owen Field, the Sooners lost to Kansas State and Notre Dame at in 2012, and to Kansas State, Baylor and OSU in 2014.
Still, you’d rather have your tough games at home. The Sooners on the road this season play Tennessee, Baylor and OSU, plus the neutral-site game against Texas.
