How former OU receiver Ryan Broyles used his $60K annual NFL salary to start a real estate business

After four successful seasons at Oklahoma, Ryan Broyles was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions.

As a wide receiver at OU, Broyles amassed 4,586 receiving yards, 349 receptions and 46 touchdowns, according to sports-reference.com.

It hasn't worked out quite as well in the NFL.

In three seasons with the Lions, Broyles caught 32 passes for 420 yards and two touchdowns. Broyles hasn't played in the NFL since the 2014 season after the Lions released him in the 2015 preseason.

However, Broyles knew how to make the most of his $60,000 yearly salary.
