Here's why Trejan Bridges is Oklahoma's breakout player of the spring

Even amongst a crowded group of 5-star freshmen receivers, Trejan Bridges stands out.

When Bridges enrolled early, he was typically the third name fans thought of in OU’s receiving class behind Theo Wease and Jadon Haselwood. That’s not to say Bridges was overlooked -- he was the No. 4 receiver in the country according to Rivals. It just so happens that Haselwood and Wease were No. 1 and No. 3, respectively.

But with spring ball in the rearview mirror, it looks like Bridges will have the best chance to make an early impact.

Listed at 6-foot-1,187 pounds -- not bad for someone who should still be in high school -- Bridges checks all the physicality boxes necessary for early playing time at Oklahoma.
