One of the Oklahoma Sooners' few veteran presences at cornerback is headed elsewhere to finish his college football career.
Pete Nakos of On3 reported on Wednesday that OU cornerback Gentry Williams is expected to enter the Transfer Portal when it officially opens on Friday. Despite injuries squandering multiple seasons for him, Williams will have just one year of eligibility left as a redshirt junior in 2025.

After starting all 10 games he appeared in as a sophomore in 2023, Williams barely saw the field the past two seasons because of major injuries.
