Breakfast with Lucy. Dinner in Lonesome Dove. A fascinating ballgame in between. Call it a fascinating Saturday. One of the most interesting days of my career.
And I’ll start near the back, in Ponder, at Ranchman’s Steakhouse.
As I told you a day ago in my travelblog, we abandoned I-35 when we hit traffic north of Denton on Friday and weaved our way to Fort Worth, including a drive through Ponder, a town in Denton County with a population of about 1,400.
