Former Sooner Trae Young logs double-double in NBA All-Star debut

CHICAGO -- Former Sooner Trae Young jab-stepped past Ben Simmons and threw an arcing pass to the other side of the rim. There, Rudy Gobert was waiting for the alley-oop.

With that pass, Young recorded a double-double in his All-Star debut. The second-year Hawks guard and Team Giannis lost 157-155 to Team LeBron on Sunday.

Fan, media and player votes combined to name Young a 2020 All-Star starter. He recorded 10 points and 10 assists in about 16 minutes of play.

That included a half-court shot at the end of the second quarter. As the final seconds of the period ticked off the clock, Young caught the ball and took one long dribble to reach half-court.
