Motley was a key contributor on the Oklahoma defensive unit in the 34-16 win over Oklahoma State. He intercepted a pass on OSU final possession of the game, recovered one of two fumbles he forced, and made six tackles. The fumble he recovered led to an Oklahoma touchdown that put the Sooners up 17-7.
He also appeared to have intercepted a pass in the second quarter of the game, but the call of an interception on the field was later overturned on and ruled an incomplete pass when a video review showed Motley had a foot touching the sideline boundary upon making the interception.
