So we’re driving down I-35 on Wednesday, Trish the Dish and I, having reached Lewisville on Day 1 of our annual OU-Texas odyssey. The schedule was much the same as always. The OU engineering dinner on Wednesday night in downtown Dallas kicks off the adventure.
I had hoped to leave Norman around noon, maybe arrive at the downtown Omni by 3 p.m., but that didn’t happen. We didn’t leave until 1 p.m., which meant we were still on the interstate at 3 p.m., the time I had agreed upon to do a podcast with Chuck Cooperstein for big12.
