Georgia and Alabama play Monday night for the national championship. Two SEC teams. Ugh. So who should Oklahomans want to win?
That’s like asking Batman to pick between the Joker and the Riddler. Republicans to pick between Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Democrats to pick between Trump and, well, no. The Dems would pick whoever’s playing Trump. And Oklahomans would pick whoever’s playing Alabama.
There are reasons to cast your cheers Georgia’s way. As I’ve written, Georgia seems the sane slice of the SEC. Compared to the Auburn/LSU/Alabama/Tennessee wing of the SEC, Georgia seems downright genteel.
Georgia hasn’t won enough to adopt a sense of arrogance or entitlement.
