Some college football divisional races have been long set. Alabama and Georgia wrapped up SEC division titles on November 3. Northwestern secured the Big Ten West last Saturday and Clemson did the same in the ACC Atlantic.
But some other divisions are not so clear. Here’s a primer on the remaining races:
ACC Coastal: Pitt leads with a 5-1 record and owns the tiebreaker over 4-2 Virginia, 4-3 Georgia Tech, 3-3 Virginia Tech and 3-3 Duke. That means Pitt’s magic number is one – any Pitt victory or Virginia defeat lifts the Panthers to the title.
