Oklahoma State is picked to finish second and Oklahoma is picked to finish fourth in the Big 12 preseason coaches’ poll, the conference announced Thursday.
The Cowboys, who won the Big 12 Tournament and made the NCAA Super Regionals, last season earned 52 points in the poll, trailing just Texas Tech, which received six-first place votes. The Cowboys did not receive a first-place vote, though, TCU, Texas and West Virginia each did.
The Sooners received 40 points in the poll.
