A recent article by The Athletic that proclaimed the Texas Longhorns are the "New Alabama" in college football has gotten a lot of laughs from college football fans since.
In the midst of the social media jokes and other radio voices putting down the preposterous take, Colin Cowherd not only also disagreed with the proclamation, but actually gave a much better comparison for Texas rather than a program that has actually won trophies.
"Texas, my entire left, has been USC in cowboy hats," Cowherd said during his show. "Hey, it's good looking, a lot of style, a lot of vibe, a lot of energy, coach always makes a lot of money, cool stadium, cool city.
