Brendan Radley-Hiles not short on belief in himself

NORMAN — Maybe Brendan Radley-Hiles wouldn’t be where he is now if it weren’t for the resolve he showed as a young high schooler in Las Vegas.

Radley-Hiles, an Inglewood, California, native believed in himself and believed that he knew what was best for not only his present but his future.

So playing for Bishop Gorman, one of the top high school programs in the nation and the school that produced former Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray and linebacker Ryan Reynolds, Radley-Hiles decided to be vocal about his beliefs.

Despite being a sophomore playing on the varsity for a program of that level, Radley-Hiles felt his talents could be better utilized — and showcased — on the defensive side.
