NORMAN -- The battle for starting running back may not be totally decided by Oklahoma's season-opener against UTEP.
Running backs coach Jay Boulware expects all four running backs — Marcelias Sutton, Rodney Anderson, Trey Sermon and Abdul Adams — to get on the field in the first game.
“They all have some qualities to them that we really like,” he said after Monday's practice. “They all have things that they need to work on. They made some competitive plays and some good runs through camp.
“We're going to get those guys all ready to go, and hopefully against UTEP we can find out who's who and really get a good feel for the guys and how they play when the lights come on and coach isn't back there yelling at them or telling them what to do.
