Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament: Q&A with West Virginia's Tynice Martin

When Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale was asked about the factors that caused Oklahoma to take two overtimes to defeat West Virginia in their final regular season meeting, she had two words.

“Tynice Martin,” Coale said. “That's what it is ... Tynice was just fantastic at our place. It wasn't as though we weren't doing our job. She was just making great plays. There were times that we didn't do our job, but she was fantastic. I put that more on her than on us. We have to pay attention to her.”

In that 90-87 Oklahoma win, the Mountaineer sophomore poured in 35 points, setting a career best.
