The most decorated basketball player in Oklahoma high school history is coming home.
Blake Griffin will be the guest of honor at The Oklahoman’s Best of Preps All-City Sports Awards on June 3rd at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Griffin starred at Oklahoma Christian School before going on to the University of Oklahoma and then the NBA.
More than 500 of the best student-athletes from the Oklahoma City metro area will be invited to the Best of Preps awards banquet.
The two-hour program includes a question-and-answer session with Griffin, 20 major awards in various sports plus awards for the Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year and Team of the Year.
