Atlanta travelblog: Comparing Mercedes-Benz Stadium to JerryWorld

My Saturday started with hearing revelry in the streets. I thought, heck, the LSU fans are starting early. It was about 8:30 a.m., and my 16th-floor room in the Hyatt Regency overlooks Peachtree Avenue in downtown Atlanta.

Eventually, I looked out my window and realized I had an excellent view of the Peach Bowl Parade’s start. So over the next few minutes came a variety of marching bands, including OU’s and LSU’s. Even the Sooner Schooner.

The parade wasn’t long and didn’t have much besides bands, but still, it was cool to see people sprinkled along the sidewalks, most of them obviously football fans, watching the parade.
