It'd been 20 years since Ron Smith coached a football player that wound up going to Oklahoma.
But beginning when Jon-Michael Terry was a freshman at Victory Christian, Smith has said Terry has the hallmarks of a player that could wind up at a place like OU.
"The thing that I've noticed (about) every OU football player that I've coached — you never find any lack of effort on film," Smith said. "It's amazing. They may not make every play, but they go hard every down. The relentless effort, that's the common denominator from all of them and he certainly has that.
