Oklahoma has dominated this series recently
The Sooners were famously handled by West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl over a decade ago. Pat White and the Mountaineers were one game away from making the national title game, but instead were relegated to a match-up with Oklahoma. WVU dominated, winning 48-28 even after losing star running back Steve Slaton.
However, West Virginia hasn’t defeated OU since that day -- Jan. 2, 2008. The Sooners have notched six straight wins vs WVU since it joined the Big 12, including a pair of four-touchdown victories in the last two years.
