1. Kyler Murray, QB: Kyler Murray soared so far above expectations, it’s almost not even worth putting him on this list. The Allen product came to Norman with legendary tales of high school championships, but it had been two years since he played football. Murray also had the unfortunate honor of following Baker Mayfield, who might be the best Sooner of all time. And still, Murray has carved a legacy that will be remembered for decades at Oklahoma.
2. Kennedy Brooks, RB: Coming into the season, Oklahoma’s backfield belonged to Rodney Anderson.
