Here are five Oklahoma football players who could breakout this fall:
Erik Swenson, OL
Redshirt junior offensive tackle Erik Swenson emerged as the leading candidate to start at left tackle for Oklahoma earlier this spring. That was a surprising development, given that Swenson played sparingly -- and was rarely mentioned as an important reserve -- in his first three seasons on campus.
Heading into the summer and fall, Swenson will have an opportunity to cement his position on Oklahoma’s offensive line. More highly-rated candidates such as Brey Walker and Darrell Simpson featured at guard during the spring game.
