The Oklahoma Sooners' 2026 recruiting class already benefitted from Penn State firing its head coach, and now OU could also profit from the Nittany Lions' biggest rival.
The Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday fired head coach Sherrone Moore, a former OU player, in what's unraveled to be a chaotic situation. Much like what's unfolded at Iowa State since Matt Campbell left to take the Penn State job after the Early Signing Period was already over, recent signees to Michigan could soon start getting out of their commitment and look elsewhere, which is when the Sooners can swoop in to bolster their own class.
