The Transfer Portal does not officially open until Friday, but players have already been lined up for weeks now to get in, and it'd be naive to think those prospects aren't already hearing from other programs and looking at their next destination.
The Oklahoma Sooners have plenty of depth at wide receiver as long as they are not gutted by the portal again, including Isaiah Sategna III returning, but they still need to splurge on an elite receiver from the portal for 2026 as the rest of their receiving group develops. With that level of talent scarce in the portal, the Sooners should already be jumping on a few receivers of that caliber as every other program with the same need is already also after these receivers.
