The Latest Oklahoma Football Recruiting News On Visits, Caleb Kelly And More

We're just a few days away from National Signing Day on February 3rd, which means head coach Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners are focusing their efforts in hopes of delivering a great 2016 recruiting class. With that in mind, here are the latest news and rumors you need to know for Oklahoma Football Recruiting for January 30th.

Three-Star WR Visits
It's the last weekend for recruits to visit before signing day, and three-star WR Zach Farrar stopped by Norman this weekend. Farrar is a Mississippi State commit, but the Sooners are trying to steal him away. He's from Texas and OU has a shot at landing him come signing day. Sooners Pushing for Jauan Williams
Oklahoma is in the top five for Williams, the four-star OT said. However, the Sooners were unable to get Williams to visit this weekend. He ended up checking out Georgia instead. The Sooners were unlikely to land Williams, and not receiving a visit means it'd be a complete shock if he committed on signing day.

Caleb Kelly Update
Kelly is the most important target on OU's board. He's a five-star LB and the No. 25 overall player. Notre Dame gave their pitch to Kelly earlier this week and the Sooners got their chance this weekend. OU is still the favorite to land Kelly, which would be a huge get for the team.
