Oklahoma Football News: Charles Tapper Learned From His "Bad Mistakes," Ready For Baylor

Oklahoma Sooners defensive end Charles Tapper was present for the finish of the team's 41-12 blowout loss to the Baylor Bears in 2013.

That's because Tapper responded to a tap on his facemask with a punch direced at the offending Baylor lineman. Tapper was flagged for unnecessary roughness before being subsequently ejected from the game.

“You always learn from your bad mistakes,” Tapper said, via NewsOK.com. “I know this game. I’ve gotta keep my composure but still come out with a lot of fire. I got my composure back. I know I’m gonna stay calm."

Knowing the nature of football and how big this game is to each team's Big 12 title chances, Tapper is fully aware of what lies ahead of him.

“Those guys are probably gonna come out there and try some little tick-tack things to try to get under my skin, but I know I’ve gotta stay focused and worry about dominating the man in front of me."

Tapper seems prepared to keep his cool in what stands as one of the most pressure-packed football games of the 2014 college football season.
