Kevin Durant is a troubled soul. He can’t seem to get over his exodus from Oklahoma City.
You’d think it would be the opposite, that OKC can’t get over Durant, and that’s no doubt true, too. But Durant’s obsession with leaving the Thunder hasn’t subsided over the 38 months since the fireworks of July 4, 2016.
Durant’s latest salvo came via the Wall Street Journal, which Tuesday published an interview in which Durant again ripped the Thunder organization. He remains angry about the fans’ reaction upon his return to Chesapeake Arena with the Warriors, which is understandable, but also expressed anger about the franchise itself, which is absurd and counters Durant’s occasional praise of the Thunder as a great organization.
