HOUSTON — Russell Westbrook contested, gave James Harden a hard target over which to shoot.
It didn't matter much.
Midway through the second quarter of the Thunder's game at the Toyota Center on Saturday, Harden rose up and drilled a contested fadeaway over Westbrook.
It was a brilliant play, an MVP-caliber shot, and not long after, Houston fans were chanting those three letters at their star as he stood at the free-throw line.
A year after Westbrook rallied to take the NBA's Most Valuable Player from Harden — the frontrunner for most of the season — the Rockets guard seems poised to bring home the hardware this season.
