Following a big win over the Miami Heat, Russell Westbrook wore a “Why Not? Tour” t-shirt that eerily resembled musical tour merchandise. The shirt included every date and location that Westbrook recorded a triple-double during his historic season. Naturally the shirt caught the eyes of the national media and immediately went viral.
Westbrook’s “Why Not?” slogan has made headlines since the start of his Why Not? Foundation. The charity provides food and clothes to children and encourages them pursue their dreams. Most recently, the slogan was used as the title of his new line of shoes made by the Jordan brand.
