Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari announced Friday that he's partnering with the Oklahoma City-County Health Department to "bring more COVID-19 testing kits and personal protective equipment to those on the front lines."
LToya Knighten, public information officer for the Oklahoma City-County Health Department, said Gallinari’s donation was unexpected.
“At first he was just interested in learning about our response and what our needs were,” Knighten said. “Ultimately he decided that he wanted to help us reach more people with testing. As we know, testing has been limited here and around the country for the past couple of weeks.
