Thunder's slump continues minus Paul George in 116-102 loss to Spurs

SAN ANTONIO — Paul George scratched the back of his head and couldn’t keep still, bouncing from foot-to-foot as the Thunder huddled up in the second quarter. Sitting out his second-consecutive game, the energy had to be used somehow.

More than George’s unused energy, the Thunder needs his talent.

The Thunder wasn’t playing particularly well before George missed the last two games with a sore right shoulder. When he’s out, though, the Thunder has to face the reality of what happened in a 116-102 loss to the Spurs on Saturday, OKC’s fourth-consecutive loss.

Against the Spurs, Russell Westbrook and Dennis Schroder had to be great and efficient.
