Thunder's Dennis Schröder sued for alleged property damage to rental home

Thunder point guard Dennis Schröder is being sued for alleged property damage to his former Nichols Hills rental home.

The lawsuit, brought by CAM Capital, was filed March 25 in Oklahoma County District Court. The lawsuit seeks in excess of $75,000.

Schröder signed a lease for the home on Oct. 3, 2018 — a little more than three months after he was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Thunder. The lease, which expired Oct. 3, 2019, required Schröder to pay a $10,000 security deposit.

It also required Schröder to “leave the premises in good, clean, and operating condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted,” according to court documents.
