Nick Collison’s No. 4 will be the first Thunder jersey retired, the team announced Saturday.
Collison’s number retirement ceremony is scheduled for March 20, when Oklahoma City takes on Toronto at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
“His impact has always been to me, is he’s been the consummate team player, team guy,” said Thunder coach Billy Donovan, who coached Collison in the final three seasons of his career.
“Really helped me. I love the guy to death, love being around him. He’s a great person. I think it speaks to what he’s done for this organization throughout his career.
