Thunder: Why interview shenanigans, post-game handshakes have replaced arguing calls, walking on eggshells

With sweat still beading on his brow, Chris Paul was talking about what most pleased him in a hard-fought, New-Year’s-Eve victory when his post-game on-court interview was interrupted.

The culprit: Danilo Gallinari.

“I’m most pleased with this guy,” Paul said as Gallinari slung an arm around the Thunder point guard's shoulders. “He was off early, but … ”

Paul playfully tapped Gallinari on the chest.

“He got it goin’.”

They slapped five as Gallinari retreated and Paul smiled.

“This team, man,” Paul continued, “we’re just trying to have fun.
