Breathe, Thunder fans. It’s just a preseason game.
The Memphis Grizzlies just grit-n-grinded the Oklahoma City Thunder in trademark fashion Friday night. In a game that featured neither Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka, nor Russell Westbrook, the Thunder were tested mightily by a tough and rugged Memphis team. Billy Donovan elected to rest his mainstays and instead threw a curveball by going with a DJ-Roberson-Waiters-Collison-Adams starting lineup. It was let’s say…tough to watch.
The game was a back and forth affair until midway in the first when the Thunder went ice cold from the field.
