The Thunder takes on the Pelicans Saturday, a team tied at No. 9 with the Heat in pace. The pace factor measures a team’s number of possessions per 48 minutes. New Orleans (106.09) trails the league-leading Memphis (108.90) by about three possessions.
“New Orleans plays really fast, so we’ll just have to really be locked in and focused,” Thunder rookie Darius Bazley said. “Get back in transition and just stay true to who we are.
