Another year, another role for Russell Westbrook.
As the Thunder point guard took his seat at the podium for Thunder media day on Monday, the seven-time NBA All-Star did so as the longest active player for the franchise.
Westbrook said evolving as a leader is something he has tried to focus on every season.
"I think that's something that I take very, very personal," Westbrook said. "You know, from the outside looking in, you can't really tell what leadership is unless you know what goes on from a day-to-day basis. I take that upon myself to be able to create relationships with different guys.
