Thunder journal: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads OKC's pass-happy attack in 113-101 win vs. Nuggets

In a 113-101 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday, the Thunder started the unofficial second-half of the season with a balanced scoring effort. But that was nothing new.

After a slow start, OKC guard Chris Paul surged ahead to lead the Thunder in scoring with 29 points. But seven OKC players scored in double digits. It was the fifth time that happened this season, setting a Thunder record.

The Thunder’s ball-sharing playing style has lent itself to even scoring. With three point guards, and often at least two on the court at the same time, the Thunder moves the ball more than fast-break-heavy offenses of the past.
