Thunder journal: Raymond Felton offers brief spark in OKC loss

SAN ANTONIO — The possession was bad from the start, Dennis Schroder and Nerlens Noel resorting to throwing passes across halfcourt before the ball ended up in Raymond Felton’s hands.

But Felton made a desperation 3-pointer which sparked the Thunder briefly in a 116-102 loss against the Spurs on Saturday.

In the Thunder’s four-game losing streak, Felton has been one of few bright spots. Felton had nine points in the first half on 4-of-4 shooting, scoring five of those points in the first 3:16 of the second quarter to help the Thunder’s second unit only get outscored 12-11 against the Spurs’ second unit.
