SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Marvin Bagley III made his first appearance Wednesday since the Kings season opener. De’Aaron Fox has been sidelined by a left ankle sprain for a month.
Between adjusting to the losses of speedy Fox and Bagley, and going through a coaching change from Dave Joerger to Luke Walton, Sacramento isn’t the same pace-pushing team it was last season. In fact, entering play Wednesday, the Kings ranked last in the NBA in pace (97.98 possessions per 48 minutes), according to NBA.com.
Compare that to last season, when Sacramento finished ranked No. 2 in pace (105.
