Thunder journal: Abdel Nader steps up in the clutch; Markieff Morris makes OKC debut

Seconds after Abdel Nader checked back into the game, after sitting for the better part of three quarters, he sank a 3-point shot from the right corner to give the Thunder a lead with less than a minute left in the first overtime period Friday night.

“That one hurt,” Utah center Rudy Gobert said after the Thunder beat the Jazz 148-147 in double overtime. “That one hurt. That’s why they’re a very good team. You take away something, they make the right play, find the open guy, and you’ve got to give him props. He knocked down the shot, he’d just came into the game and he knocked down a big shot.
