Thunder guard Terrance Ferguson out against Timberwolves

Thunder guard Terrance Ferguson (right hip soreness) is listed as out for the Thunder's Friday night game against the Timberwolves.

It's a new injury for Ferguson. The Thunder had a non-contact practice Thursday, but coach Billy Donovan said every player participated.

Ferguson has started 19 of Oklahoma City's 20 games this season. The only other game he missed was for personal reasons.

The third-year guard is averaging 5.7 points per game this season on 35 percent 3-point shooting. He's served as the team's defensive specialist and likely would have drawn the matchup with Minnesota's Andrew Wiggins on Friday.
