The Thunder outclassed the Wolves from start to finish, steadily building a 58-50 first half lead before blowing the doors off of Minnesota in the third quarter to take permanent command of the game and, maybe, the series. Some shaky fourth quarter play did not give way to a meltdown, and the Thunder maintained a 10+ point lead from the four-minute mark of the third quarter on.
Shai wore the MVP crown well for his first official night with the distinction, scoring a balanced, lethal 38 points on 21 shots. Chet (22 pts, 4 rbs) and JDub (26/10/5) both breathed some life back into OKC's offense, making the Thunder look every bit the championship favorite through two conference finals games.
